Connecting Instagram
Why doesn't my Personal Instagram account work?
Wysestats reads insights data that is only available for Business and Creator accounts. A Personal account does not expose those metrics, so connection will fail until you switch the account type inside the Instagram app. Read more in Why we use Meta Business Login.
Why do I log in to Facebook (Meta) instead of Instagram?
Business and Creator Instagram accounts authenticate through Meta. Your Instagram account is linked to a Facebook Page that you manage, and Meta is the system that grants Wysestats permission to read your insights. Read more in Why we use Meta Business Login.
Can I connect more than one Instagram account?
Yes, on plans that include multiple accounts. Add each one from Settings > Connections, then switch between them with the account picker in the sidebar. Read more in Manage connected accounts.
Can my agency connect for me?
Yes. An agency can connect a client's account either by being added to the client's workspace or by handling the connection on the client's behalf with their consent. Read more in Connecting as an agency or Connecting on behalf of a client.
Data and metrics
How often does Wysestats refresh my data?
New posts and updated metrics are pulled on a regular schedule throughout the day. You can also trigger a refresh manually from the connection settings if you want the latest numbers right now. Read more in Keeping your data current.
Why are some metrics missing on old posts?
Instagram does not always expose historical insights for posts that existed before you connected, and some metric types are not available for older content. Read more in Missing or low metrics.
Plans, billing, and integrations
What happens if I cancel my plan?
Your account stays active through the end of the current billing period. After that, paid features lock and your data is retained according to the cancellation policy described in the billing guide. Read more in Change or cancel your plan.
Is Notion required?
No. Notion is an optional integration for teams that want their analytics mirrored into a Notion database. Wysestats works on its own without it. Read more in Connect Notion.
Can I share a report with someone outside my account?
Yes. Reports can be shared as a link with people who do not have a Wysestats login, with view-only access to the version you publish. Read more in Reports overview.
