Change or cancel your plan
Upgrade, downgrade, respond to a retention offer, or end your plan at the next renewal date with a clear view of what happens to your data.
You can change plans or end your subscription from the Billing page inside Wysestats. The product walks you through each step, and this page explains what to expect at each one.
Upgrade your plan
Upgrading takes effect right away, and the price difference is prorated for the rest of your current cycle.
- Open Settings and choose Billing.
- Find the plan you want under the plan list.
- Choose your billing cycle, monthly or yearly.
- Choose Upgrade and confirm in the secure checkout that opens.
- Return to Wysestats. Your new limits and features apply immediately.
If you are on the trial, choosing a paid plan ends the trial and starts your paid plan from that moment.
Downgrade your plan
Downgrades are scheduled rather than immediate. You keep your current plan until your billing period ends, and the new plan begins on the next renewal date.
- Open Settings and choose Billing.
- Choose the smaller plan you want to move to.
- Confirm the change.
After you confirm, Billing shows a notice with the date your downgrade will take effect. Until that date, you keep every feature and limit of your current plan.
When the downgrade lands, the product will quietly tighten anything that was over the new plan's limits. For example, if your new plan supports a smaller watchlist, the most recent set of competitors you added is kept active and the remainder is set aside rather than deleted.
Respond to a retention offer
When you start the cancellation flow, the product may show you a one-time retention offer for your next cycle. You can accept it to keep your plan at a discounted rate, or decline it and continue with cancellation.
- Open Settings and choose Billing, then start cancellation.
- Pick a short reason. This helps us improve the product.
- If a retention offer appears, decide whether to accept it.
- Accept applies the offer and leaves your plan running normally.
- Decline moves you to the final cancellation step.
- If you continue, confirm the cancellation.
You can only accept a retention offer once per plan, so use it when it is the right fit.
Cancel your plan
Cancellation does not end your plan instantly. Instead, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period, and then it ends.
- Open Settings and choose Billing.
- Choose Cancel plan and follow the flow.
- After you confirm, Billing shows a banner with the date your plan ends.
Until that date, the product behaves as it always has. You keep your accounts, history, watchlists, planner databases, and reports.
What happens after your plan ends
After your plan ends, your workspace moves to a read-restricted state and feature pages are locked behind a plan picker. Your data is not deleted right away. You will receive a warning before any data clean-up begins, and you have time to come back and restart a plan to keep everything you built.
For full details on what is retained, exported, or removed, see Data and privacy.
Common mistakes
- Assuming cancellation removes your plan immediately. It does not. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- Choosing a plan in the wrong workspace. Confirm the workspace switcher before you change a plan, especially if you manage more than one.
- Forgetting to choose the billing cycle. Monthly and yearly are different products. Make the choice before you confirm.
