How Wysestats works

Understand the product model before you connect anything, so the rest of the app makes sense faster.

Wysestats is an Instagram-first analytics product. You connect an Instagram account, Wysestats keeps its data current, and the rest of the app helps you understand what your content is doing — across analytics, posts, competitors, reports, leads, planner, and Notion.

The mental model

Your account holds one or more profiles. Each profile owns one or more connected Instagram accounts. Charts, posts, and reports always reflect the active Instagram account — the one selected in the sidebar switcher.

This three-layer structure is what lets a single paid account cover multiple brands or clients without re-billing each one. See Workspace vs Instagram account for a deeper walkthrough.

Why Meta Business, not personal Instagram

Personal Instagram accounts cannot return analytics. Meta only exposes insights for Business or Creator accounts that are linked to a Facebook Page through an official integration. That is why connecting starts with Meta Business — it is the only path that gives Wysestats access to the metrics you came here for. See Why a Meta Business connection for the full reasoning.

How fresh the data is

  • Account data refreshes daily by default.
  • Reports use a snapshot of the data at the moment they are generated, so a report stays consistent over time even as new data arrives.
  • Some metrics are only available for certain post types — for example, video views apply to Reels and video posts but not static images.

What lives where

  • Home — overview, your onboarding checklist, and shortcuts.
  • Analytics — account-level trends, profile metrics, and audience.
  • Posts — individual content in card or database views, with filters and saved sets.
  • Competitors and Explore — track competitor accounts and surface standout content via watchlists.
  • Reports — generate and schedule shareable PDF or HTML reports.
  • Leads — publish forms and collect submissions.
  • Planner — plan, schedule, and review content in a database view.
  • Notion — optional mirror of planner and report data into your own Notion workspace.

Plans

Wysestats has three paid plans: Solo, Creator, and Pro. The plan controls how many connected accounts you can have, how many competitors you can watch, how much history is kept, and which features are available. See Pricing and plans for the current matrix.
