Using the App

Home and navigation

Find your way around the app: what each area is for, what Home shows you, and how the active account changes what you see.

The app uses a left sidebar for navigation and a top bar for the active account selector. Once you understand the shape of these two controls, the rest of the product gets predictable fast.

The Home page

Home is your daily landing pad. It is built around four ideas, in order down the page:

  • Getting Started — a short checklist driven by the goals you picked during onboarding. Items here only check off when you actually complete the related action elsewhere in the product, not when you click the row.
  • Account brief — a short, plain-language summary of what the data is showing for your active account: headline, growth direction, and a few suggested next steps. Open the card to read the full brief.
  • Performance and top performers — recent account-level numbers and the posts that are doing the most work for you right now.
  • Outliers, goals, and planner preview — a quick read on competitor outliers, your weekly and monthly goals, and what is coming up in your planner.

If you have not set goals yet, the goal cards prompt you to pick a metric and a target. Goals are tracked per account.

Top-level navigation

The main areas in the sidebar:

  • Home — the page above.
  • Analytics — account-level metrics, trends, and date-range comparisons.
  • Posts — every individual post for your active account, with filters and saved views.
  • Explore — discovery surface for standout posts in your niche.
  • Competitors — the watchlist of accounts you actively track.
  • Reports — build, schedule, share, and download client- or team-ready reports.
  • Leads — public lead-capture forms and the submissions they collect.
  • Canvas — chat-first companion for working through sets of posts.
  • Planner — content planning database, schedule, and views.
  • Account — profile, billing, connections, notifications, privacy, and access accounts.

The active account selector

Most pages show data for one connected Instagram account at a time. The active account lives in the top of the sidebar. Switching it changes what Analytics, Posts, Competitors, Explore, Reports, and Home show. If a page suddenly looks empty, the first thing to check is the account selector.

Where billing lives

Billing sits inside Account → Billing. Plan changes, invoices, payment method, and the customer portal are all reached from there.
